When I start to plan a menu the first step is checking what is in season. Seasonal food tastes better and naturally compliment each other, I check that ingredients can be sourced locally and are of a high standard. The focal point of any menu is the main course, so this is where I start. Once I've decided on this course I balance out the rest of the menu with complimentary flavours and textures. Each course is practiced and finely tuned, until I am happy that the final menu is of the highest standard.
Many of our guests are from the local area - Clevedon, Nailsea & Portishead so if you enjoy good food instead of going to a 'normal' local restaurant why not give my Eclectic Kitchen supper club a go.
